Boston City Hall is a building about which people have strong opinions.  This couple was into the concrete.  And into the geometric interiors.  So we spend a few minutes shooting inside City Hall before heading up to the City Clerk's office. 

Presided over by City Clerk Maureen Feeney, this Boston City Hall civil ceremony was held in her office, which just about fit the group gathered.  Boston City Hall is a unique, and architecturally fascinating, place to have a civil ceremony in Boston.  After the ceremony,  the North End, Faneuil Hall, the Rose Kennedy Greenway, the Boston Public Garden, and Beacon Hill are all just a short walk away.  

X and P chose to do their civil ceremony at Boston City Hall the day before their reception.  Inviting just their respective parents to join them for the wedding ceremony, their siblings came joined for a dinner later at Oceanaire.Weekday ceremonies are a great option for small weddings.  We offer weekday wedding and intimate wedding coverage which includes covering the ceremony and an extended portrait session after the wedding ceremony.  There are both historic and modern places to do portraits right within walking distance of Boston City Hall.  Are you interested about getting married at Boston City Hall?  Go down to Boston City Hall at least three days before your wedding with $50 and complete the Marriage Intention Form at the Registrar?s Office.  When you can return to City Hall, you can pick up your marriage license and get married!  

Some of my favorite weddings every year are civil ceremonies at Boston City Hall.  Joanne and Johnny wanted an intimate City Hall wedding ceremony with just their son, so they decided to get married at Boston City Hall  last week.  With the new school year underway, and a new home purchase in process - they decided to forego a big wedding and have a small wedding instead.
