Let Them Play!

I call them playdates. ?Because it?s fun. And it?s less formal than portraits. ?Connection based and family centered portraits document you and your family in and around your own home. ?Our photographs tell your story. Do your little one have a special place where they play? Are they fascinated with an everyday activity – like washing the dishes in the kitchen sink? DO they love to play the piano? ?These things are specific to the story of your family.

We are often most comfortable in our own environments and there?s no travel time for you. ?It is more convenient, and it?s also rich is shooting possibilities. We did organize some formal portraits, like the ones above but the magic happens when we wait and watch for the candid and spontaneous.

Outdoor Family Portraits

There was a break in the clouds and we scurried off to Spy Pond in Arlington for a few outdoor images to compliment the ones we got indoors.? No one minded the drizzle – especially little Maya.
