GET IN TOUCH
Breakfast of cinnamon rolls and prosecco. A little FKA twigs on the turn table, an impossibly fluffy cat and the critical few in attendance – we are ready for a Friday morning wedding at Cambridge City Hall.

CAMBRIDGE MASSACHUSETTS CITY HALL WEDDING
Black leather jacket – the perfect look for a casual weekday wedding at City Hall
Wedding ceremony was held in Cambridge City Hall Chambers. ?There were quite a number of folk getting married that morning, we saw wedding couples as we came in and as we left.
Winter still has a hold on April in Boston, and while it seemed the sun wanted to come out, it only flirted with us for a few moments before ducking back behind a curtain of grey clouds. ?We kept most of their portraits indoors.
They chose not to purchase anything new for the wedding, and forewent flowers as well. ?The bride wore one of her favorite dresses, and the groom paired a collared shirt with a tie and donned a leather sport coat. ?They each wore sunglasses and with the bride?s trench coat they looked a little like a pair of detectives who had slipped away for a lunchtime elopement.
This is one of my favorite images from their wedding day. ?A gentle gesture of caring from wife to husband, as he receives and reads a card from his aunt. ?A portrait of the groom’s mother, who passed away, is on the mantle figuratively and literally watching over him on his wedding day.
CENTER STREET CAFE WEDDING LUNCHEON
After their City Hall wedding, Jamaica Plain?s Center Street Cafe was the destination for their wedding luncheon. ?A local Italian food favorite, Center Street Cafe is committed to locally sourced ingredients. ?Working with the staff there, the bride and groom created a menu to cater to all their guests dietary needs. ?We were welcomed ?into their open dining room, and had a long family style table laid out with customized event menus.
Excessive food photos follow – as it was amazing. Cafe delicious menu for the bride and groom.

SQUISH THE CAT
For the cat lovers . . . this is Squish. Resident fluffball.
Love this cat cuddle, with brand new wedding rings.
I love this couple?s commitment to zero fuss. ?This bride is kind and caring – and she shies away from being center of attention so they came up with a way to commemorate their union in a way that speaks about who they are as individuals and as a team. ?Congratulations on your wedding!
