FIRST LOOK WEDDING PHOTOS
This fearless bride was game to stick to our plan of first look at Powder Point in Duxbury, despite the 35 mph winds coming off the water and the cool temperatures. I’m glad she was! It was quite windy but the wind picked up her veil and created a gorgeous wind swept romance for these images.
First look themselves are planned – but there is excitement and emotion and unpredictability all the same. Some of my clients have strong feelings for or against doing a first look. I’m happy to work with what works for you. In this case, we wouldn’t have been able to get back to this location post ceremony, and we were all glad we did it as the rains that came an hour later would have forced us inside for the couple portraits.

BACKUP PLAN FOR WEDDING CEREMONY
The couple was SO excited to be getting married and celebrating with their friends and families that the change in weather didn’t dampen their spirits one bit. Their back up plan for rain was to have the wedding ceremony indoors, in the DBMA’s boat shed. This meant that, once guests arrived, no one had to go outdoors again. We all kept warm and merry inside while the sky greyed and darkened.
