When one of the brides is an editor at ATK, you may suspect there will be wonderful food. And you would be correct.
The day started a little grey and drizzly, but ended warm and dry under a beautiful sunset.
College sweethearts, moms to the adorable furball Lucy – these two enjoy life. Hence the elegant little wedding that gathered their families and friends
Ceremony swept into a tented area on the orchard field. Guests gathered together to witness as Liz and Kate said vows in a beautiful ceremony that was officiated by one of their closest friends from college.
Champagne toasts and then food, food and more food. The team at Fugu kept it coming. Passed small plates for hours. And it was ALL DELICIOUS.
The brides kept it a true cocktail-style format for the entire evening. No formal seating, once we moved indoors. And yes, Fugu kept passing the small plates. It must have been hours of eating. We were all in heaven.
We ran outdoors again, once the sky was dry, to capture a few moments during sunset. And then it was back to the cake, which was one of three desserts, also including sticky mango rice. Worked off all three desserts on the dance floor.
Shout out to the folks in the food truck for keeping everyone happily fed all evening! @fugutruck
