Boston Family Photography | Back Bay

January 28, 2015

As we are nestled in with our families waiting for the roads to clear and taking turns shoveling/wrestling Sadie into snowbanks, I thought this would the occasion to post this Boston family portrait session.  Cuddled into bed and reading books together?  That’s exactly where I would like to be for the rest of winter.

I’d met this cutie toddler before (at a best friends play date session I apparently meant to post but didn’t), and now he’s back to introduce his baby brother.  We kept ourselves from the cold and stayed indoors.  The family lives in a beautiful top floor and sun-drenched Back Bay apartment, where we read some books, play with trains and had fun.

Trains were the only thing on his boy’s mind.  Even the books he picked had trains.  I’m not unused to this toddler train frenzy, having had nephews myself. As we ended our session, a brand new still-in-blister-pack train came out.  Train as bribe to site still. As you can imagine, this campaign worked quite well.
