GET IN TOUCH
They had me at Charcuterie. While I had my first meeting with J and M via Skype, (because – hiver le plus chaud), we met in person at the Salty Pig, and it was beer and pate and cheese boards and instant friendship. A nice salty and fatty indoor winter activity, eating is. Spring, as that she does, returned just in time for their wedding at the Wychmere Beach Club in Harwich. Everything, and I do mean everything, was beautiful. J and M both come from loving, and fun-loving, families. They were surrounded by sunshine and happiness and toasts and dancing and laughter.
The wedding day began with the final moments of preparations. We orchestrated a first look down on the dunes by the water. The ceremony was held on the lawn facing the water. The reception in the uCpstairs Ocean Room. As it happens, the videographer turned out to me my neighbor in Fort Point. We teamed up to do some romantic video light portraits at the end of the night for a series of album closers.
This was a wedding of hilarious toasts, the kind of wedding where multiple and touching facets of personalities are revealed and celebrated. The kind of wedding where I absolutely love my job.
