Boston Engagement Portraits .:. Waterfront, North End

May 30, 2014

I love photographing engagement sessions, especially in Boston.  Boston is, as we well know, a small-ish city, but it’s packed with wonderful and historic places to shoot.  When I first spoke with K., she mentioned that she and A. were avid Bruins fans, and that they were interested in taking some images by the waterfront.  We planned on a few locations within walking distance, to get a varied look  (from historic, to sporting, to urban) and feel to the images. It was a windy Sunday afternoon when we met in Charlestown.  We started at the rooftop of Pier 6, warmed up a little and ventured forth.  As dedicated Bruins fans, we had to stop by the Garden and I used the shapes of the sign letters in their images. From there we found our way to Copps Hill Terrace.

Here they are, very much in love with each other, and the best of friends.  We had a great time, and the wind totally cooperated with us.
