A belated post of images from a beautiful fall wedding in Lake George, New York.  It was a cold weekend, but crisp and perfect for shooting at the historic Lake George Club. This couple met many years ago, as teenagers, and after a decade of adventures decided to make it official with a ceremony by the lake where they spent summers in their youth.  They chose a 1930s fall theme for the wedding – see how wonderfully this theme fits with the Lake George Club. Guests were greeted with cups of hot apple cider so they could sip something delicious and keep their hands warm during the outdoor ceremony.

In the rafters, a french gypsy jazz band played. And a fortune teller set up by the fireplace to read the guests palms.  The NY Mets were not able to be woven into the mix.  Alas!

We set up a first look before the guests arrived and carved out a few moments of quiet time to make some portraits around the venue.  The bride wore a vintage dress that she found in an antique wardrobe and had refit and reconfigured – it was stunning!

I loved the whole thing! Plus they got me a room at the one-of-a-kind Bolton Pines – where I recuperated by which I mean I poured over my computer and started culling images.
