A long time coming- this New York engagement portrait session at Riverside Park. ?This couple will be getting married here in Boston next month, but they live in New York where they are both doctors. ?We had a great time exploring the reclaimed Riverside Park (every time I hear Riverside Park visions of Jerry Orbach?in early nineties Law and Order are conjured in my mind even though the park is now gorgeous).
Looking east from the park there was a beautiful view of the city past a wall of native grasses. And the sculptures along the water were perfect framing devices.
At the end of the portrait session we?savored some pumpkin beer and enjoyed the skyline of New Jersey while the sun set. ?Before leaving Manhattan and heading back to Brooklyn, we got a few images in at Lincoln Center.
